The Gold Canyon Dinosaur Mountain Golf Course is located just outside Phoenix, Arizona on the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. There are two 18-hole championship gold courses there, the Dinosaur Mountain and The Sidewinder. The course covers almost 6500 yards and has a par of 71.
The resort opened in 1997 with only 9 holes, but it quickly expanded just one year later to 18 holes. The Sidewinder was added on due to the popularity of the original 18 holes. It is a very scenic course, making it an incredibly popular course. The small greens and narrow fairways combined with the stunning awe of the mountain backdrop makes it a course that is as enjoyable to walk through as it is to play.
